How it works

Just talk

Rooted asks one question at a time. You answer out loud, and your words appear on the screen as you speak. Rooted then tidies them into a story that still sounds like you.

Watch your tree grow

Questions are grouped into four parts of a tree: your Roots (childhood), your Trunk (what shaped you), your Branches (the life you built), and your Canopy (what you pass on). Every story you tell fills in more of the tree.

Made to be easy

Big buttons, easy-to-read text, and one step at a time, so telling your story feels simple.

Your stories are private

Your stories belong to you and are kept private to your account. We'll publish Rooted's full privacy policy before it launches.
