Slait privacy policy

Slait is made by South Baltimore Firm LLC (“we”). This explains what information Slait handles and why. The short version: your notes stay on your device unless you choose to sign in, and we don't sell or share your information.
Using Slait without an account
You can use Slait without creating an account. Your notes, week blocks, and goals are saved on your device only. We don't receive them, and we can't see them.
If you sign in
Signing in is optional and turns on syncing between your devices. When you do, we collect and store:
- Your email address, to sign you in and to email you the sign-in link.
- What you write in Slait: your notes, week blocks, goals, and their layout, so they can sync to your other devices.
Each account can only read and change its own data. Data is encrypted in transit.
How we use it
Only to run Slait: to sign you in, and to keep your content in sync across your devices. We do not use it for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell it.
What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad networks.
- No tracking across other companies' apps and websites.
- No analytics or third-party tracking tools inside the app.
- No selling or renting your information.
Service providers
We use these services to run signed-in features. They process data only for us, to provide their service:
- Supabase, which hosts our database and sign-in system, where your email and synced content are stored.
- An email delivery service, which sends your sign-in link.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
Synced data is kept until you delete it or delete your account. In Slait, go to Settings and choose Delete account to permanently erase your account and everything synced to it. You can also email us at support@sobofirm.com and we will delete it. Data stored on your device is removed when you delete the app.
Children
Slait is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has signed in, email us and we will delete the account.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app.
