Sipwise privacy policy

What we collect

Nothing. Sipwise has no accounts and doesn't send your information to us. We can't see your name, progress, or cellar.

What's saved on your device

To keep your learning going, Sipwise saves these on your device only: the name you choose, your daily goal, your lesson progress, XP, streak, corks, quests, and achievements, the questions you missed (for practice), and your cellar: the wines you add, your ratings, tasting notes, and wishlist. You can erase all of it with Reset all progress in your Profile. Deleting the app, or clearing your browser's data for Sipwise, deletes it too.

Fonts and voices

• Fonts: the current version of Sipwise loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To download them, your device connects to Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request, like any website. We don't send Google anything else.
• Pronunciation: Sipwise reads words aloud using the voices built into your device or browser. We don't receive what is spoken.

What we don't do

• No accounts or sign-in.
• No advertising and no ad networks.
• No tracking across other companies' apps and websites.
• No analytics or third-party tracking tools inside the app.
• No selling or sharing your information.
• No real-money purchases. Corks are earned by playing.

Age

Sipwise is about wine and is meant for adults. It isn't directed to children, and because it collects no personal information, it doesn't collect any from children either.

If you email us

If you write to support@sobofirm.com, we receive your email address and whatever you send, and use it only to reply to you. Ask us any time and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If Sipwise adds features that send information off your device, such as accounts, syncing between devices, or subscriptions, we will update this policy and the date above before those features go live, and tell you in the app.
